Last night Erika woke up at 2:00am from coughing, so both Peter and I got up with
her. We sat with her for a little bit downstairs, gave her some Tylenol and herbal cough medicine and she went back to sleep till 6:30. We both felt bad for her because we know what that's like to wake up coughing in the middle of the night.
I decided to get up with her at 6:30 because Peter stayed up last night when she was up coughing. Now her cough sounds fine. It is so strange how it comes and goes. Still the only explanation is some type of allergy. Daddy didn't get much sleep because Erika was calling him from downstairs. She likes to have both of us sitting on the couch with her. 
So after some breakfast, I gave her a bath and went out to do some errands. She took a nice nap for Daddy while I was out. How does he always get so lucky??? One of my errands included stopping at The Dollar tree for some Easter eggs. When we were at Michelle's yesterday I saw how much Erika loved playing with the eggs, so I bought her some. I also bought some to string on the trees. When I came home, Erika was definitely happy about the eggs. 
I think that the shoes I had on Erika today are the most girlish ones she has ever had! They looked adorable and will also look great with her spring dresses. That cat next to her is out outside cat BEE. We headed out to shop around for a car for Daddy. His is falling apart and we thought it was a nice day to browse around. At the Toyota dealership, Erika was calling the salesman "friend" and she was very upset when we left and he didn't come with us. She even kept asking for him after we were gone.
We went to Panera for a late lunch/early dinner and it was really nice. Erika was so well behaved and ate great. I love going to Panera - great food, affordable, child friendly and casual. what more could one really ask for. Anyway, our day with Erika was just so nice. I love having her all day for myself. I am looking forward to being off for a week with her soon.
Erika is getting better at taking baths again. For awhile she would just cry the whole time in the water. she was always afraid that she would do poop in the water. But thankfully, she is more relaxed and seems to be okay.
