Last night Erika got up at 1:30. Mommy and Daddy got up. We changed her, fed her and offered her to sleep with us. She declined so we put her in her crib. Both of us really had to get to bed due to work obligations. So we shut her door and hoped for the best. 3 hours later when my alarm went off...I still heard her crying. No way did she cry that long! And if she did, I feel terrible. I hope it will not be a repeat performance tonight because I am so tired and so is daddy...who isn't even home from work yet and has a FULL day of appointments tomorrow. She went to sleep really easy tonight which has not been the case for the past few nights. I confess...I gave her some Tylenol, orajel and belly med. I wanted to make her feel better...whatever the problem is. Based on the last two teeth, this is the three to four week warning that a tooth is coming! Yup THREE to FOUR WEEK warning! Grrrr...

Today when I picked Erika up from Maureen's her cheeks were all red. But Maureen had said that she just woke up from a nap and that sometimes their cheeks get red while teething. But I watched Erika's mannerism on the way home and she seemed so sad and wiped out to me. So I became concerned and stopped at CVS for some Tylenol (we were fresh out.) She felt warm to me and her cheeks looked even more red so I became slightly worried. I am friends with this woman that works there (Betsy) since I practically live at CVS and I asked her what she thought. She felt Erika and thought she was warm. But when I came home and took her temperature it was normal. So I don't know what that was all about. Her cheeks faded and all was fine. Maybe an allergic reaction to something she ate?

OMG you would never know she wasn't the happiest baby in the world from your photos! Love the Monkey on her Back - ha ha! Is that shadowing of her teeth coming in and her pain? Good one, Mommy!

So cute, love the bow in the last pic. Sorry she is going through this rough phase. Scares me to think we are next.
