My last day off with Erika

Erika and I had to cancel another visit due to her cold...and mine. I think at this point she is doing better than me! My friend Debbie and her two boys were going to come over today but the good ol' green stuff scared them away! Who could blame them? I don't want to share that with any one. So Erika and I started out our day real casual. Playing and then I went through her closet and dresser (AGAIN!) and did some more cleaning. I can't believe how quickly she grows out of clothing. Anyway, it is all neat again and easy to see what she has. As I was cleaning her closet, I found this duck robe that my friend Kim had sent Erika when she was born, so of course we had to try it on after her morning bath! What I love about it is that it is still going to fit for awhile. The other robes only fit her for such a short time. It even came with matching duck slippers. So cute. Thank you Kim!

Erika is so happy that she knows how to press the doorbell on her little tent all by herself now! It started out that I was always doing it for her, but now that she is becoming such an independent woman, she can press that doorbell on her own...so back off Mommy!

This picture is for all the people that always tell me Erika doesn't stop smiling. She looks like she is telling me to give her and the camera a break. Like "come on Mommy, enough is enough already with the daily pictures!"

I haven't posted a video in a long time. This one is of Erika demonstrating her "combat crawl." She does regular standard crawling too.

Another post on today coming later...
