Much better than yesterday!

Today was so much better than yesterday! Last night did not end up as difficult as I thought but she was up till about 10:30 I think. Almost as soon as I had finished my post for yesterday, I heard her crying. The only thing I can guess is teething, at this point. Erika did get up early this morning but I took her in bed with us and managed to get an hour or two more. I really don't sleep great with her next to me and she moves around so much too. At nap time (9:00am) Erika was fighting me again. Eventually I went in her room, laid her down again, and then rub her back in circles for her and then she fell asleep. She took a nice nap and has been in a great mood since...thank goodness!

Here is my cutie patootie right after her morning bath which ended up being at 1:00 in the afternoon! My choice was to either give her the bath before her morning nap or after, which I decided after which made it late. She loves to look at herself in the mirror after I wrap her up in her towel after her bath. It is so cute. Also Erika likes to laugh at herself. We always go find Daddy where ever he may be and show him how cute she looks too.

I can't believe that the shirt in this picture is tight already. She has only worn it ONCE! AND it is size 18 month and she is only 9 1/2 months old! I will be lucky if I get it on her one more time. Her onesies are all size 24 months at this point. And most clothing I buy is size 2T now! Wow...Erika really is a big girl!

Erika and I had a few errands to do and we invited Daddy to join us. Daddy got a taste of how much fun it is to walk around Target with Erika and at the same time how difficult it is to not buy her everything that you want to. I needed to get those smooshie corners for our coffee table so that when Erika is pulling herself up to stand (which she does do) she doesn't bang her head. She is also slightly walking by holding onto objects but she is still very very nervous. So anyway, Daddy found the sunglasses for her so now Erika is in with all her other sunglasses friends (Damiane's babies). Lets see, Daddy also got bubbles that are scented, a large ball, and a kitty cat organ (maybe a video of this later). I found shorts on sale for Erika for only $1.98 and they are so cute!

I taught Erika how to clap this weekend and she is so proud when she does it. I tried to video her clapping about three times and every time I would try she would start to cry. Maybe later. When we came back from our errands she was passed out in the backseat. For the first time ever she did not wake up when I turned off the car and did not wake up when I took her out of the car seat. I laid her down in her crib and she is still sleeping. Poor baby must be completely wiped out!
