Happy Easter! Today we had Vivienne over for lunch and dinner. Erika was so excited to have Grandma Vivienne. She definitely seems to know who she is at this point. It is cute because Erika acts more gentle with Vivienne than she does with me. This is the best picture (and only) one that I have of her in her "Easter Best!" It was all down hill from there as far as the outfit was concerned. We had a nice time and I got a chance to play in my new kitchen! Baked and glazed ham, mashed potatoes, corn, ravioli and many desserts! I must admit it was good. My back hurts from all the work but I know that we made Vivienne happy. We also spent some time at the cemetery with Oma and Opa.
Erika still has her cold and was a pretty rough act to follow at times today. She hasn't been eating too much. BUT in the picture above she really got into her blueberry pie which I still can't believe I allowed her to try! I think between her cold and teeth coming in, she is very uncomfortable and not too interested in food. Then she gets mad when I start to eat and starts to scream at me! I told Peter that I want the high chair moved down by his chair!!

This gave me such a nostalgic feeling. I have the swing up in my bedroom which is where the computer is also. So just now I put Erika in the swing so I could update my blog and I knew it was kinda quiet over then. Erika falling asleep in her swing is such a thing of the past and it truly reminds me of her being a little baby. She must be so completely wiped out. Now I have to figure out how to handle the rest of the night. I didn't plan on her falling asleep in the swing! I love it!
Meanwhile I have this beautiful Easter bonnet that Jo at work made for Erika. I want some pictures of Erika wearing it and it never happened today. Maybe tomorrow!
