Day One of 6 Days Off With Erika

Today I had the whole day off with Erika and I enjoyed having her all to myself. She had a rough night last night and so she did take a long nap today. But when she woke up we played and had some cuddle time together. I find that it is difficult for me to stop hugging and kissing her! Sometimes she complains and pushes me away! Boo hoo!

In the picture above Erika is standing in her pack and play while I clean up the living room. Tomorrow we are having a play date at our house with Isabelle and her Mommy Michelle. Erika does not stand up on her own. I help her and she stands there till she falls down. She is so proud to be standing like that. Erika is such a good girl that it is unbelievable.

I remember thinking that I wasn't going to use the pack and play and now I use it almost everyday. Most of the time Erika is okay with it too. Look how tall she is getting!

Here she is all happy because I gave her baby yogurt for the first time for dinner and she loved it so much. It was strawberry banana flavor and she ate the whole container in addition to a jar of oatmeal and apples. That's my healthy appetite baby!
I had gave the yellow pj's above to my friend Damiane in Florida for her daughter. Then I started thinking that I should have some of Erika's tiny clothing to save and remember the beginning. Well Damiane sent them back to me and I couldn't get over how tiny her first pj's were! I barely even remember Erika that small. I put her pj's from tonight right next to the others for a size comparison.

Was she really ever that small??
