So Michelle and I convinced each other that it would be okay and "safe" to take a walk as long as the girls were in their own strollers and we didn't have any shared toys. It actually helped me to feel a little better. The chilly air was nice. I know for sure Erika likes getting out. It is so much more fun to go walking with a friend than by myself. I have wanted to take a walk for all the days that I was off but just couldn't get motivated. It was fun...should I mention that we were stuffing our faces with chocolate chip cookies and drinking coffee the whole way...and then complaining about our weight!! Silly Mommies!! But we have fun and that is what counts.
Here she is all excited to be taking an outing. She was getting tired of being confined to our house. Who would know that this picture was taken about a minute after a crying fit...and I couldn't even figure out why she was crying...but she was!
Isabelle is such a cutie pie. She was giving me kisses and hugs. I was loving it. I have to teach Erika do give kisses on the cheek. She gives regular kisses. In fact, it is funny because when Peter or I kiss the other one goodbye or hello, Erika joins in by making the kissing sound. Very sweet.
Erika was being hot stuff while playing on Isabelle's battery operated quad! Of course Isabelle is much better at operating it but I am sure a few more tries and Erika will get the hang of it.
Isabelle has all fun toys! Erika seemed a bit more confident on this one.
But in the end this is really her favorite place to be...on the ground rolling around and crawling.
And we all know...this is my favorite place to be...with my beautiful daughter. I have enjoyed the passed 6 days with her very much and as always will have a difficult time handing her over to Maureen tomorrow.
