Almost Crawling

Erika has been working so hard for about a week now to try and crawl. Usually she gets in position and then collapses! Today when I went to pick her up at Maureen's house we had her on the floor and she kinda crawled. We were both so excited. It really was a crawl but it happened so quick that I think I don't believe it. It wasn't that typical crawl one would picture in their head. I am excited for her that she is almost there. Today our kitchen counter top was installed (finally). It is so beautiful. It is black with little pieces of actual mirror in it. So of course I had to try a photo shoot with Erika. Since I couldn't get her to keep that Easter hat on the other day, I tried again today. I did better today. Unfortunately the picture does not show the counter top too well. It really is pretty and was well worth the wait. Erika loves it too.


I had a tough time tonight convincing Erika to eat her dinner. I think the whole time change is catching up with her and she is very sleepy because of it. I tried to shovel some food in and then finally gave her one of her fruit bars and she really enjoyed that. She ate like such a big girl, taking little bites at a time.
Before Erika had dinner I was able to get some Easter shots of her Baby's First Easter onesie. This one makes me laugh because of the expression on her face.
