So what if Erika doesn't have any Irish in her...she still likes to celebrate by wearing her shamrock dress! I wanted to enjoy her wearing it so I decided to put in on her today. Meanwhile it is in the washing machine right now so that it will be all ready to bring to Maureen's to be worn tomorrow too. People always think I am Irish because of my freckles & hair color and Erika is looking pretty Irish in her shamrock dress too! If the grass were green here I would have liked to get a picture of her on the grass. But it is too gross on the lawn so the good ol' bench on the porch had to do.Walking around waiting for Grandma and Grandpa.

Today Erika's grandma and grandpa came over for some yummy lunch. We had cold cuts and potato salad. Erika joins right in with the eating. The self feeding still gets me a little on edge because it is difficult to monitor how much she is really getting. Today was her first time trying potato salad and she really liked it. No doubt she loved all the attention and having 4 sets of eyes watching her all day. By 7:00 she was completely wiped out! Poor baby, she had a very active weekend.
Here is Erika eating nicely with the adults! Yummy ham, roast beef and potato salad. I can't believe she eats "people food!"
Here is today's "crew" (minus the photographer) just getting ready to eat. I was excited because this is the first time since Peter and I lived together that we have a dining room and furniture too! Vivienne gave us her old dining room set and we are very grateful for that! Erika has never sat in her high chair at the table. I always feed her in the living room in front of the t.v. in her high chair.
Having some fun with Grandpa.
