Today...

we went to Erika's Aunt Margaret's house. In the morning we went to the special pie place that everyone likes to go to and bought a strawberry rhubarb pie. It was a yummy one! At Thanksgiving time people wait on line for hours just to get a pie from that farm. CRAZY!
Erika was so happy to see her Aunt Margaret and Uncle Steve but there was also an added bonus! Peter's mother is here too! Yup she is visiting from Georgia and so Erika had some special time with her Oma. It's sad that she doesn't get to see her more but I guess that's what happens when you live in 2 different states. But when she does get to see her i like the two of them to just absorb one another and take it all in!
Erika played a lot in the yard. Ate a lot and just really had a nice time. She isn't shy at all and warms up real quick. We didn't leave till after 9:00 and I thought for sure she would fall asleep on the way home, but nope she was awake and chatting away with Peter and I. I know she had a great time because she said that she wants to go back again!
