Tonight we took a ferry over to another part of Virginia called Surry. The excitement was not exactly in where we were going but how we were getting there!
We took our car on the ferry which was a totally new experience for Erika. Not one of my favorite things to do but it was fun watching her. The ferry was free which is really cool compared to where we live with a fee to and from.
So we drove around a little bit and checked out Surry, which reminded Peter and I of Iowa. We stopped for a snack and then went back on the Ferry to head back to where we were staying. A fun little outing for sure.
