This morning we had a very exciting day planned. Michelle and Belle had invited us over for a pool/pizza party. I told Erika about it yesterday and she remembers when I tell her what we are doing the following day. So first thing out of her mouth this morning was "I want to go to Chelle's house." So both Erika and I got ready for the day and then we played outside while waiting for Michelle to pick us up. Peter had my car again since I really didn't need it today and Michelle was nice enough to come pick us up. Check out that beautiful sunflower that Peter grew below. That came from a kit that my mother had given me for a previous holiday. It came out so pretty. We had a few more but I never thought to take a picture of them.
Erika loves going up to flowers and smelling them.
There she is squeezing in a few of her famous "poses." It was funny even tonight when Peter came home from work he was holding his camera looking at some pictures he had taken for work and Erika tells him "Daddy take a picture of me, I am gonna pose." What a silly girl. Before going in the pool, the girls played and had snacks while Michelle and I talked. I know the two pictures below are not with them facing the camera but they just looked so adorable working in that kitchen. It was better not getting a picture that they knew I was taking! They looked like little women already! YIKES! There are the bathing beauties all ready to go swimming! Oh my goodness they just look so sweet and cute. I can't get over how big the two of them got. Erika was so so beyond happy in the pool. She LOVED it! It was one of the most excited times that I have seen her. She kept giggling and wanted to jump around. She loved that I didn't have to hold her in my arms since I bought her that "swim coat" as she calls it. Only problem with the "swim coat" is that I don't feel it keeps her safe enough so it is being returned and I will buy a even better one. Today was the first day that I tried it.
Two chilly girls after getting out of the water!
The picture above totally makes me smile. I had asked Erika if she could bring me a pretzel. So she puts a little apple butter on it for me because that's what she had seen me doing. Meanwhile, Belle says "I can bring you a pretzel." So now I have two adorable little girls waiting on the pregnant lady! It was a sight. So so cute. I felt like a queen that both of them wanted to please me so much.
