Just enjoyed another great summer day with my girl. We set the pool up again. You know it's funny, I have been sharing my car with Peter which keeps me home, which actually forces me to relax in the backyard with Erika, which is SO NICE! Like they say everything happens for a reason!
It was another hot one today. It never seems to bother Erika but I sure was roasting. I almost felt sick so we had to take a pizza lunch break inside the air
conditioned house! Then we went back out for more summer fun in the pool. A couple of things that Erika does that I constantly forget to mention - at night when I am putting her pj's on, she will intentionally put her arm through the neck part instead of the arm and then make the most adorable face at me and say "This way Mommy...this way?" and then giggle, every time I ask her what color something is, she tells me "GREEN", sometimes she will sing something and then say "you like that Mommy...you like that?," she constantly tells Peter "Don't mess my hair Daddy." she still LOVES
ice pops like always and well she is just the love of our lives!!!
Tonight we had a dinner invitation to Kristina and Nickolas' house. We went around 5:00. Erika enjoyed checking out all his toys. One of her favorites was that he had the backpack from Dora. She was attached to that the whole time!
Hmmm...maybe that could be a potty incentive? That situation is not going as planned. Part of me thinks she isn't ready and part of me just says she is reluctant to change like her Mommy.
