EXHAUSTED! I feel like I have been going non-stop all week. Most of the days this week Erika did not get a nap due to various reasons and so that means no break for me. It's so hard because I don't want to complain - in a few weeks I will be crying because I have to give her to Fran all day so I can work, but at the same time, I am tired too. I am sure being pregnant has contributed to this! Anyway, onto the day!

First Erika came with me for some
blood work. I chickened out on having
hers done. I skipped the one year old
blood work and now the script for the two year old
blood work is waiting. She did great while watching the whole thing! In fact, she was helping the technician or doctor as Erika called her and handing her the gauze and tape. Erika was so proud of herself because the "doctor" gave her a smiley face sticker for being such a great helper and Erika said "THANK YOU doctor." Too funny.

Then we met up with Aunt Jo (my co-worker) at school and eventually went for pizza. I didn't get anything accomplished in my room because it was so so HOT. But it was cute seeing Erika explore. Aunt Jo was sweet enough to buy Erika a large
coloring book and new crayons. Any gift that is ever given to Erika completely warms my heart!

By the time we went for pizza we were in the middle of the time that Erika would be taking her nap if we were home. She was getting a little "two year oldish" but what did I expect! Jo thinks she is cute even then...HA! It was so nice to spend some time with Jo. She has been such a constant in my life since my very first year of teaching.

On the way home Erika started to fall asleep in the car and I wasn't having that! I hate when I loose my nap break because she sleeps in the car! So we stopped at Babies R Us for a new fresh not worn out mattress for her pack and play for when she returns to Fran's, a thick quilted
sheet for it, some hair pretties, AND....Dora undies. That topic to be continued!
