Busch Gardens!

What a day! We headed out pretty early to brave the heat and lines at Busch Gardens. Elmo was top on Erika's list. We were there before it opened and could not believe how long we had to wait just to get our parking ticket. Erika was SO EXCITED!

There was a dancing and singing show with Elmo and friends and Erika kept waving and saying "Hi Elmo....HI!" It was so sweet. She was talking to him as if her and him were best friends and like he should know who she is! It was worth everything just to see the excitement on her face.

Some of Erika's favorite things today other than Elmo of course was the German dancers, Irish step dancing, the train ride and the Elmo movie that was 4 D. She had an amazing time. Peter and I were sweating bullets and it was a lot of work...but of so worth it for Erika's happiness.

Of course I have tons of pictures to share but chose about 15 of the 70! We were there till about 6:30 which was when all three of us just couldn't do it any more.

Ernie and Burt spent an incredible amount of time with Erika. She hugged them, kissed them and just had a great time hanging out with both of them. She was so thrilled and they were so nice to her.
