Pool Time Fun!

Okay, so I am a COMPLETE NUT and I went in the pool with Erika! I couldn't help it...it was so hot today! Besides I thought it would be fun for her but it turns out, she didn't find the pool that much fun. She whined most of the time and kept pointing to the swing. Finally after trying many techniques of keeping her in, I gave up and put her in the swing.

Peter came out to push Erika on the swing and I "lounged around" in the pool. He took a couple of pictures of that but they are too silly to share with every one! I had fun! It did actually cool me off.
Last night Peter and I had made plans for today to go to the petting zoo with Erika. We thought it would be nice to actually do something and Erika loves animals. I called our neighbor for some recommendation's on which petting zoos are the best and she convinced me/us not to go! She reminded me of the smell that would emanate from the animals on such a sweltering day! One step outside and I had to agree. So the picture above is right before I put Erika down for a nap, still thinking that we are going to the petting zoo! Check out her new white walking shoes AND I had her hair in PONY TAILS!! I can't believe her hair is long enough for that!

There is Erika and her Daddy playing near the sprinkler. She is funny because she acted as if the pool was too cold (after I put warm/hot water from inside the house into the pool), in yet she will play with the cold sprinkler water! But she makes the rules, we just follow them!

Daddy and Erika were sharing an ice pop and suddenly Daddy felt something warm...Erika had no diaper on in the pool and I guess she had to go!

I am looking forward to my day with Erika tomorrow. I don't have the option to go in since the school already arranged for a substitute for me for the day and so I will just enjoy my day off with Erika.
