Today after school, Erika and I met up with my mother. We went to a local park that has a playground and a lake to walk around. Erika had some fun on the swings and taking a walk looking at all the geese. The swing seemed weird at this park because if Erika sat a little forward she looked as if she was going to fall out!! Even though we are not supposed to, Erika fed a few of her goldfish to the geese!
When we spend time with grandma, I get a break from pushing the stroller. The "excitement" of pushing a stroller isn't what it used to be! I used to jump to push the stroller for anyone who had a baby! I know Grandma enjoys it and so I let her take over and push away!
This is the weird swing! After the park we went to a local Mexican restaurant to eat. Right before getting there, when we parked the car I spotted one of my current students - Lawson. So of course I had to make a spectacle of him and I did pretty good at that. It was very entertaining because I had him hold Erika and then all these girls that he was with pulled out their cell phones and started snapping pictures left and right. It was like Erika was a celebrity! Very funny.
After we ate, we hit the stores Erika got a new pair of jean shorts and a cute blue dress...for when she goes out on dates! We ran into ANOTHER one of my students - Luisa! That's the problem with hanging around in the town you teach in. Grandma gave Erika a surprise but you will have to wait to find out what it is till tomorrow!
