My day off with Erika was busy of course but really nice. Another night of up and down with Erika led to a semi-long morning nap this morning. Then we went out into the steamy weather and finished our birthday exchanges. I had actually planned on returning a really cute pair of sandals that I had bought her because she wouldn't even let me put them on her. But on the way to the store I let her hold one and then I slowly put them on her little feet and it looks like we are keeping them! By the way - her beautiful outfit is from Sara, one of my students from last year!
THANK YOU Michelle for this battery powered quad that Erika is sitting on. She hasn't tried it out full force yet. Daddy stayed up late customizing the quad just for his little girl. He replaced all the pictures of Barbie with pictures of Erika. And every time it should say "Barbie" it says "Erika." It came out really really cute. I am thinking of buying Erika a helmet before she tries this amazing gift out.
After lunch Erika was very sleepy again so she went down for another nap which is rare for her these days. I just hope she sleeps tonight because as always, I am BEAT! While Erika was napping, Daddy came home and I was able to slip out to get a manicure and pedicure. It was nice to do something for myself.
Then it was off to Michelle and Isabelle's house for some big pool time fun. The only problem was that neither of the girls thought the pool was that much fun! I guess the water felt cold to them but truly isn't wasn't cold at all. I hope that Erika will like the pool soon!
After we got out of the pool, Michelle and I were laughing at whole big Erika's diaper got from absorbing all the water! Back to work tomorrow! Boo hoo...only 3 more weeks though!

I've missed reading your posts! We've been so busy this vacation I'm rarely online. Erika is looking so grown up! Hope she warms up to the water soon.
How cute about the quad. That is a beautiful outfit they have one in black and white that I almost bought for Indira but decided to wait and get it in a bigger size for later on!
