Peter had been away on a business trip for his job for the past week. Erika and I were troopers while he was away. But of course we are both so happy to see him and have him back home. It seemed like Erika needed a little time to warm up again but they are already back to being best buddies! Today we went to visit Grandma Vivienne at a rehabilitation center because she had some major back surgery recently. Erika was so well behaved as always and brightened many peoples day that were there. One woman was even thanking me for letting her see Erika.
Today I realized that I hardly ever use Erika's baby spoons to feed her any more. I use regular spoons for my big girl. I am not ready to move them out of the cutlery drawer yet though.
Erika looking very serious! This morning she slept till 9:00! I couldn't believe it. I guess the girls night out last night really wore her out! I jumped out of bed this morning and did the old mommy thing - "let me make sure she is breathing." Finally Peter was so excited to see her that we went in and kind of encouraged her to get up.
