I know I write it all the time...but I couldn't resist. I just love being Erika's mommy. It is the best feeling ever! And I love the weekend because I get to cuddle and kiss her all up. Today the three of us tried out this really nice cafe downtown. It is a new cafe where the chefs do gourmet cooking (they are in training) for an inexpensive price. We all loved it. Erika ordered a grilled cheese sandwich, a fruit cup and an apple juice. It is a lot of fun bringing Erika out to eat because she is so well behaved. I remember when she was a baby I was always afraid to go out because it seemed like as soon as we would sit down she would cry and it was always difficult for me to quiet her when she was that small. I always ended up outside walking around with her till she fell asleep.
Erika is open to trying everything which is nice. Really I haven't seen much of anything that she doesn't like. Bad parents that we are...we even let her have a cookie and she tried my cheesecake which she enjoyed very much! I figured she would because she likes cream cheese sandwiches too. We always have to clean up the floor before we leave because half of her food ends up down there.
Erika likes to suck on the strawberry but it never seems to actually make it inside her.

Thank you Michelle for letting Erika borrow Isabelle's exersaucer! She loves bouncing around in it. I wish I would have thought to buy one a long time ago! It is going to be great for her to play in while I get work done for school, like this weekend - grading almost 300 papers and calculating my students averages.
