Marvelous Monday...

Back to work today and back to leaving my baby. Today I had an added bonus because during my lunch break I went to Maureen's to drop off some diapers for Erika and I got to see Erika. I gave her a quick kiss and was back to work. When we came home, I did some raking and Erika watched. Then we were off for our walk. The weather has become so nice here that I can't pass up taking a walk up and down the hills. Hey, maybe I will even loose a pound or two. Erika loves to just sit with me on the bench that we have on the porch. She lays back on me and takes it all in. That is one of my most favorite times with her right now. I give her gentle kisses on her head and tell her how much I love her as we sit there.
The sun made a glare in this picture but I still posted it because I like it. She looked so cute standing with her inside stroller all by herself. My baby girl is getting more and more independent every day. I am excited for her and sometimes sad for me. Time to have another one! After dinner of ravioli, goldfish and peaches, it was time for a nice bath. The pink ball in this picture makes Erika do her cute baby giggle when it touches her belly. It cracks me up.
I am looking forward to pool time this summer with Erika because she absolutely loves the water! Different than me when I was younger. I liked the water but not in my face. I remember my father washing my hair in the sink for me so that I wouldn't have to put my face in the water in the shower. Erika loves the water in her face. Look at these pictures for the proof!!
Maybe just a little drink!

Look at the entertainment on her face.
And then there is the constant struggle to keep her sitting down. I can't take my eyes off her for a second! My crazy girl.

She looks like she can get out on her own! 10 months old...I can't believe it!

I LOVE when I wrap her up in her towel after her bath because it reminds me of my swaddling days with her.

NIGHT NIGHT BABY ERIKA...MOMMY LOVES YOU!
