Sweet Sunday

Today has been busy busy busy. Daddy is busy with work and so Mommy and Erika had to get many things done. A bonus from last night is that Erika slept through the night. Can I hope for the same tonight? I don't care for her waking every three hours schedule! I made sure that I didn't sit down today for anything because then I knew I wouldn't get anything done. During Erika's morning nap I was able to get all my students averages and comments entered into the computer. It was a good feeling to know that I was finished with that. Then when she woke up I gave her a bath and we went out to get my oil changed and car washed.

After the oil change we made a trip to CVS for a "few items." $100.00 later we had our few items and were on our way back home. Erika was tired out again and took a nice afternoon nap which allowed me to get more done. I had to grade some papers (didn't even come close to finishing), sterilize bottle nipples, do laundry, write out cards, clean the kitchen, and get Erika's clothing ready for the week.

In between all the chores Erika got a chance to sit like a big girl at the kitchen counter...with Mommy ready to catch her if she falls. She was REALLY excited to sit there. I was nervous...she was happy!

Look at the excitement in her face! And now it is time for a bath, a bottle with cereal in it and then night night time for Erika so that Mommy can grade some more papers and get some things done around the house! Good Night!...I wish!
