Yup...it's that time for me to face reality that tomorrow I have to hand Erika over to Maureen! I have mentioned many times - it isn't that I don't like teaching - I LOVE teaching but after spending 10 days with Erika, it will be difficult for sure. I hate to even think about it.
Today Erika's Grandpa came over (Peters father) to play. We had some nice lunch and yummy dessert. Erika loves her grandpa and they have fun playing together. She puts on quite the performance for him too. Usually when I give her the sippy cup she looks at me and then tosses it on the floor. Today he suggested that she wants a drink. I said "You want to see what happens when I give her a drink?" So I did and that little stinker drank from her sippy cup so nice three times in a row!!
This was taken right before she went to sleep for her 9:00 nap. That first morning nap of the day she always welcomes but usually protests for the second nap. She looks so big all of a sudden! Almost 11 months.
After Grandpa left, we went for a family walk around the neighborhood. Here I am sporting my new hair, freshly manicured nails and fresh pedicure! I am glad that I finally did something for myself.
I wanted to put one more picture of "the hair" because today was the first day that I was allowed to shampoo it, so it came out a little different than the other pictures I previously posted. I like it but I think I need a clip in the front or something. Today Erika was kinda checking it out by touching it.

You can see your hair alot better in that photo. I remember that LONG curly hair you had for years. Sorry you had to leave Erika and it made you cry. I couldn't even imagine what that is like.
