I bought her the Dora and myself a soft serve chocolate with chocolate sprinkles. I always had the misconception that it would be super expensive to buy from the ice cream truck. But it was only $4.00 for both of us.
I wasn't even too sure how she would handle holding the ice cream but she did great. Also I was surprised to read that the wrapper said this was a banana strawberry ice! Call me crazy but that sure looks like chocolate ice cream to me. Anyway, whatever it was she really loved it right down to the very last lick!
I thought she would be upset that it was dripping all over her but she was more interested in eating it. Look at her legs! Actually the picture barely illustrates the true mess. Once in awhile she would complain a little about the dripping but after assuring her that I would clean her up, she was fine.
This picture (above) shows a little bit more on both her legs, mouth and arm. Her legs and arms were "stained" like that the rest of the day.
"Don't rush me Mommy, I still have a few more bites left!" Then when I was walking her to the bathroom to clean up, she was getting a lot of people looking and giggling at her. It was such a mess!! But so worth it. I would do it all over again.
No way did I think she would finish that entire thing! After the big clean up, we went to Walmart to check out the bikes. i even put her on the small one to see if she liked it and she loved it. She couldn't peddle but she still loved it. Now it is time to start making some bike decisions.
