The weather was changing quickly and so we decided to go in for some sandwiches and salads. Erika didn't eat too much because she was too excited that Grandma and Grandpa were over! Although come to think of it, she did pretty well when it came to dessert time. But then again I am like that too!
I can't say that Erika really went in the pool at all. She had her feet in for a little bit but never actually sat down and played. Maybe she just didn't think it was warm enough yet for being fully in the water. I hope she is going to like the pool more than she did last year.
After eating, Erika and Daddy laid on the floor and played little people. One of Erika's favorite activities! I love when she says "Come on daddy, come on." So adorable. She definitely sees him as her playmate. That is one very lucky little girl to have such an incredible father.
Then when I was getting the dessert ready I looked in on the crew and look what I saw! A bunch of couch potatoes. Good thing i had Pat keeping me company and helping in the kitchen!
After the movie was over that they were watching, we all went for a walk around the neighborhood. We had a great time with grandma and Grandpa. Always a special treat for Erika and Peter and I!
