Today after work Peter and I decided we could use a pizza! So Erika and I took some old cereal and headed to the pizza place and the duck pond. The duck pond is right across the street from the pizza place. So while the pizza was cooking, we fed the ducks.

Only small problem was that the ducks didn't seem to want anything to do with us! I think they must get so many visitors that feed them, that they were not even hungry!
Erika was a little
disappointed and I was A LOT
disappointed! She still had fun watching them but I know it would have been more fun to
actually see them eat. We threw a few pieces in the water, but none of them came.

The duck pond is right next to our church and it is such a beautiful area. It reminds me of Little House On the
Prairie! Anyway after a little bit of hanging out with the ducks, we went to pick up the pizza and then yummy in the tummy. The man at the
pizzeria always gives Erika garlic knots and man oh man does she love them. She must have inhaled three of them just in the 5 minutes it takes to get back home.
It seems that her personality is developing more and more every day. I find her having some strong opinions about various things. Also she is becoming little miss independent and often tells me that she wants to walk alone! She is breaking my heart...ALREADY!
But boy oh boy...do I love her!!!

What a sweet post, I can't believe she will be 2 in less than a month! That is why she wants to walk alone...LOL...I am sure it is heartbreaking!
SO cute!! The last time we went to that pond we were nearly mauled by them when we ran out of food, I wonder if their eggs are hatching and they are chillin out. Erika looks so grown up,what a doll!
She is getting so big! Is that the duck pond in Stony Brook? When is our playdate?
