This morning Erika was up by 6:00 and ready to go. But
by the time 9:00 rolled around, she was ready for a nap! We had plans to meet up with Grandma today to celebrate Mother's Day. Our plan was to go to Adventure Land if the weather seems okay.

The weather held up and we made it there. It was so crowded and Erika was so excited! I think we took her there about a year ago and it seemed as if she remembered some of the park. Both my mother and I were pretty surprised. They have a whole kiddie section so that was where we headed to first.

We were not too sure how Erika would react to the rides so we just bought her some tickets instead of the
bracelet to ride as many times as she wants. Next time we go, we will invest in the bracelet because she really liked the rides. EXCEPT for this one...

I think it was some sort of construction vehicle. Well at first Erika indicated that she wanted to go on, but once I sat her down, she screamed and cried so much. I encouraged her to try it a little and see if she likes it. Well, the first time it went around, she screamed (for her life) but then became used to it. And the best part was when she got off she came running to me and said "I did it!" Sp proud of herself. I have some pictures of her crying on the ride but that would be mean to post! But here are a few more from that particular one...

My mother was surprised at how independent Erika has become. She would stand with her hands behind her back just so that neither one of us could hold her hand! She wasn't too talkative today either. However in Erika's defense she is having some pooping issues again. Will she ever outgrow this??

The swings Erika requested on her own. It amazed me how she really knew what she wanted. Sometimes it seems that she has the entire day all planned out.
I am going to have to make a part two to this post because i am beyond tired!
