Ah...a day off in the middle of the week. Just another reason to be thankful to all of our Veteran's! Not only have they fought for our freedom and continue to do so...we also get a day off. Just what I needed. A day with my girl. We haven't seen Michelle and Belle in forever, so that was number one on today's activities.

The weather was supposed to be so much nicer than it actually turned out. The forecast was mild. BUT as you can see from these pictures it was chilly and WINDY. The problem was that we didn't realize this till we got to our destination. We went to this local farm that has all of these great swing set type things to play on. The girls were thrilled but I was freezing and so was Michelle. I wanted to leave the minute that e got there but hung in there for Erika. I don't like cold and windy! I don't think the two of them even noticed.

It was great to see them both together and it was great to see Michelle. After the farm we moved our gathering to Target! I was looking for an infant car seat for baby Christopher and Michelle came along. It was nice because she took both girls so that I could look around in peace. Something that is very rare for me! then we met up again and had some fun together. It is unbelievable how big both of them are compared to when we met. I have a picture that Michelle took of Peter, Erika and I the day we first went to Michelle's house and Erika was only 2 months old and is in my arms all swaddled up!

It was so hard to get a picture of the two of them because they just kept moving. And would disregard any request that we had to sit for a picture. One thing I can say is that both of them were tired by the time we left there and then target tired them out even more.

When Erika and I came home we both took a nap. It doesn't really seem to be an option these days. If Erika naps...I nap. I used to push myself to get things done. So now, nothing gets done but at least i get to recharge my drained battery a little bit. Then we went to the craft store for something i needed for work. I had plans to go to Kohl's too but became exhausted after just doing the craft store and so we only went to the food store after that.

It was a nice day to just be with Erika, see Michelle and Belle and try to live life a little bit. I am looking forward to Thanksg
iving week when I have three days plus the weekend off with Erika. 5 full days! Woo hoo!

Michelle made yummy chocolate chip muffins, thinking that we would have a little picnic at the farm! That never happened because of the yucky weather. But those muffins were so good! Erika couldn't get them in quick enough. And I had two!

At the food store Erika picked out a new hat and gloves. Definitely something that we needed. The gloves are a little big but still good.
