It doesn't really matter that it was raining today. It was a day off with Erika and that is enough for me! I decided to put her in one of the dresses that her Grandma gave her today
instead of waiting for church on Sunday. It seems like if I keep waiting, then she will never get to wear them! However, I do think Erika is finally healthy enough to go to church tomorrow but we will wait and see on that one.

Erika started her day at about 7:20 which is so much better than 5 or 6. Last night Peter and I were guessing what time she would get up. Basically both of us were right. She is so funny when she wakes up because she yells from her
crib "Mommy (or Daddy depending on the day) I have to go potty!" But the truth is that she is
just awake. When we bring her downstairs to get her pull up off and put
under ware on, first thing we do is put her on the potty. Most times it seems that she really doesn't have to go. But it is a very smart method for calling us!

After breakfast, baths and showers, Erika and I went to
walmart. Still on my infant
car seat search and now I am also in the market for a toddler bed. I was hoping and still am that maybe Santa will bring one for Erika but her latest stunt is making it more likely that she will be getting one sooner than later. Two times last week during nap time
whine she stayed home with peter, she intentionally put her feet in
between the railings of the crib! YIKES! If that happens again it could get really dangerous.

Chances are i am not going to wait for Santa...you never know what he is going to show up with anyway. And so I actually saw
a really nice one for only $55.00 that I will probably be getting for her this Friday. I know she will be thrilled to have her own bed and then we can get her used to the idea that Baby Christopher is sleeping in her crib. Speaking of Baby Christopher, he is one ACTIVE little boy. Does this kid ever sleep? And he swings from my ribs as if they are
monkey bars. I bought him his bedding set the other day and it's super cute. If Babies R Us let me copy the picture I would have posted it. Tomorrow is another appointment and they will confirm the date of his arrival.

Erika was great at
Walmart. Her favorite seems to be watching other children drive their mother crazy. These boys were all over the place and
Erika just kept telling me..."I want to go see the boys Mommy." I kept thinking - oh boy I hope she isn't taking notes! It is so hard to predict how she will act at a store. Sometimes the minute we walk in she starts whining and other times she lets me do everything i need to.

We have noticed a big
change in her coloring skills. She is now actually trying to color whatever the object is on the page. it's really fun to watch her. First batch of Turkey cards are out but I did still want her to produce a few more. We didn't even get one! She only made four and I am hoping for about 4 - 6 more! They are a tremendous amount of work for her and a tremendous amount of patience for me!

And in the photo above...yuck...I told her to give me a nice smile and the kid put her tongue out!!!
