This morning I took Erika for a hair cut. I don't like when the ends start getting all stringy looking and
un-kept. Also I really loved that haircut she had back in September. I was
hesitant to make the appointment because I didn't want Erika to be coughing the whole time. But it worked out well and Erika did GREAT. EVERYONE there just adores her and thinks she is so cute. I feel weird taking pictures there but I really should because it is really cute to see her sitting in the chair with the black cape on too.
After the haircut we went to the food store. She was a complete chatter box the whole time. I'll take a chatter box over whining any day. Whenever we get to the check out she always helps put the groceries up on the conveyor belt and then her favorite part is using my debit card! She always tells me "Mommy i want to do debit, I want to do debit." I help her swipe it and then tell her which color button to press when I need it.
Then it was home for some yummy lunch and then nap time for both Mommy and Erika. She spent an hour fooling around before she actually went to sleep which made it to be a very late nap. the late nap doesn't matter on a Saturday but on Sunday it would. the later she gets up from her nap - the later she goes to sleep at night.
After nap time, Erika played little people with Daddy while I made dinner. then
Erika and I sat at the kitchen table and made some really cute turkey pictures to send to Grandparents. We glued feathers and all. She had fun with that but only made it to making two of them. So we will be doing more of that on Sunday. It is so nice to be home with her and spend time doing things. I am still missing my time with her from the summer.
