Yup, Sunday arrived and so did reality...time to go back to work tomorrow. I have enjoyed my time off with Erika. Even though I should probably finally mention that she has actually become a real challenge for peter and I within the past few weeks.
I am sure it is just a phase and I kind of remember her going through this when she was about 1 1/2 and I remember how glad I was when it passed. But she is whining constantly about everything. She wakes up whining! And then worse than the whining is when we tell her to do something and she says "No." That's the real test!
And so we have been talking to various people for advice and I have been doing some reading on what the "experts"
recommend. We don't even know who she is sometimes! And then other times she is the sweet loving Erika that we know so well. I always tell myself how normal this is and that they are constantly passing through stages but when you are actually living the stage...it can become DIFFICULT!
Sometimes I think she is already having adjusting to the new baby problems but I don't know if that is possible since the baby is not even born yet!
Anyway, as you can see from the pictures, I took her to the park today. She was great there and totally loved it. the weather was beautiful today. Amazing temperatures for the end of
November. Unfortunately for at least half the day I didn't feel well and even had to go back to bed at one point. I was so nauseous but the second half of the day I felt better.
