Today Erika came home to a great surprise from her Grandma (my mother). It was a box filled with Thanksgiving goodies. Erika and Daddy were home before me and so when I came in she was very excited to show me that she got a box and of course wanted to open it right away. So we sat down and dug right in! She just loves getting packages in the mail but then again who doesn't??
She needed some help with the outside packing with the tape and all but once we got that box open for her, she had no trouble at all checking out the goodies!
First opened was two new dinosaurs! YEAH!! Erika loves playing with her dinosaur toys. She lines them all up. She makes them talk and make dinosaur noises and then some of her smaller stuffed animals sometimes take rides on them too.
Good pick on the dinosaurs Grandma...not even a repeat. You must have a good dinosaur memory to not even duplicate one of them!
Next was a Blue and Magenta. Those were a huge hit and even went to bed with her! Erika likes that show and we often see the stuffed animals at the store but I never bought her one. They are nice and cuddly and she likes them a lot!
I don't really know what she was opening in the picture above. It might have been the scarecrow door knob decoration for me. That was funny when she opened it. She looked at it and said here Mommy this is for you. I was amazed that she knew it wasn't hers. It kinda looks like a stuffed animal but some how she knew it was a decoration.
There she is opening the card. She also got some really cute stickers that were turkeys. Stickers are ALWAYS a hit with her!
Look at that line in the background just to get a cheeseburger at McDonald's! YIKES!
