Well today was another "non church going" day for Erika. I feel like I can't send her if her nose is running and she is coughing. This was the fourth Sunday that she missed! Today i went and Peter stayed home with Erika. I felt bad because when I left with Judy Erika said that she wanted to come. Everyone was asking for her too. Hopefully this Sunday she will be healthy and ready to go! She has all these cute dresses from my mother that I really want to put on her too!
After I came home from church I made lunch and Erika took a bath. She is actually doing pretty good today. But I didn't want Miss. Kathy to have to keep wiping Erika's nose...that's not much fun especially if you aren't the Mommy!
Later in the day Erika requested that we make some more turkey cards. Those things are truly made from the heart. It takes her so much time just to make one and then towards the second one she gets tired of doing it already and easily frustrated. So then comes the push to get her to actually finish the card! Then I always hold it up and ask her how it looks and tonight for the first one she said "Mommy it looks perfect." And then for the other one she said "It looks great!"
Cute story...this morning peter had
QVC on because they were selling a toy and thought Erika would be into watching it. She was for a few minutes but then tells him "Put something else on, this is boring." Made both of us laugh! How does she know this
stuff at only 2 years and 3 months old???
