Wonderful Wednesday.

We started the day nice and relaxed. I am kinda in slow motion because I know I am going back to work next week. So I am trying not to really make things too hectic. We did some more potty training this morning...still doing well. We played a bit and then eventually went outside for a walk.
Erika has been asking me to take her for a walk down to the beach and so we were about to g o today. But then Daddy called and said he was on his way home from work and that we could FINALLY go pick up his new (used) car. We were all pretty excited! He bought a 2008 Toyota Highlander just like I used to have but it doesn't look like mine because they changed the body. I will take pictures to share tomorrow. I wanted to today and it just never happened. We are happy but I guess we have buyer's remorse because we were both strung out with anxiety when we came home wondering how we will afford it!
While Erika and I were out walking we suddenly became SWARMED in yellow jackets. It really scared me. It happened right where I took this picture above. Maybe it had something to do with the wood. It was really crazy not to mention scary too. They were following both of us. The yellow jackets seem to be out in full force this year.
After the car pick up I took Erika home for a nap. Peter went to do some car related things. It was such a busy day that Erika and I didn't even get a ride in the new car yet! Tomorrow hopefully. After napping Erika and I met up at the outlets with Belle and Michelle.
Peter went to his fathers to work on the computer so we had a girls night out. We weren't there to shop really...although I admit it...I looked and only looked at baby boy clothing but didn't get anything especially because i don't even know if I am having a boy! The girls love to run around there and go on all the rides...so that's what we did and it gave Michelle and I a chance to talk.
After that we went for salads at Panera and the girls had grilled cheese. Erika was becoming a monster at this point because it was her bed time. It was a great night. We had fun with Belle and Michelle and look forward to getting together again.

Oh and check out these beautiful flowers below...My neighbor Carol came over with them for me to wish me a "Happy Back To School Week" next week. Isn't that beyond sweet?
