So let's see...it's the last day of my summer vacation with Erika. I have no regrets about the summer of 2009 with Erika. We did so much and spent so much time together. That's not to say that I am ready to give her up because I'M NOT! But I know it was a great summer and I know how lucky I am to have the entire summer off with her.
Today we made sure to have some family time. So we all went to the aquarium which is something we have been wanting to do for awhile. Erika loves it there...and so does Peter. I am not a huge fan but still go. I dressed Erika in red, white and blue again for Labor Day. I love dressing her.
The picture below is hard to make out but it is actually a monkey making friends with Erika. He came down all the way from up top and sat right in front of her! We kept telling her that he was after her
loli-pop! She had a lot of fun today and I enjoyed the three of us making time to be together.
So tomorrow morning I will wake at 5:00 and Erika will be woken at 6:00 and we will travel to Fran. I already did my crying tonight to Peter about how difficult it is to leave her...so i should be okay tomorrow. Honestly though, I think I may have had the BEST SUMMER of MY LIFE. I really enjoyed it. I got so much out of it including so many aspects of my life.
So i will wake up tomorrow morning not grouchy, but thankful for 2 wonderful months off!
