No church this morning. Erika is still coughing and with a runny nose and both Peter and I are still really not 100%. On top of that, we know the playroom at Sunday school is a breeding ground for germs. So we figured, no reason to expose her to that. Although I missed church, it was also nice to have the morning relaxed without keeping to a schedule.
It rained all day today. Sometimes pouring and sometimes just misty. By the time Erika had breakfast, her bath and her machine...it was already nap time. One amazing thing about Erika is that she asks to "do a little bit of night nights" on her own. And she requested it two times, so I wasn't going to ignore her. While she napped, I went for a manicure...which was GREAT!
Probably gets boring to keep seeing these apple ride pictures but if you saw her excitement in person EVERY time I take her, then you would understand. She just loves that ride. I smile so much just watching the enjoyment she gets out of that ride! When people walk past and see her excitement, they smile too.
I usually let her do about two rounds on the apple ride. So for $1.00, I have a really happy girl. And when she gets off she tells me "Mommy, now it's somebody
else's turn right?" So sweet and cute.
We were also on a mission for a pocketbook for Erika. Peter said she was ready...so you don't have to tell me twice to take my girl out pocketbook shopping. We bought a wallet, sunglasses and the pocketbook. She was such a proud and happy shopper.
