Oh my goodness, it has been non-stop since I went back to work and it continues to be non-stop. I feel like I will never relax again! This past week was just so beyond crazy. A change in child care, my new subjects at school require a huge amount of time, keeping the household semi-neat and I am pregnant! Thursday and Friday night my body just couldn't do this any more. I couldn't keep my eyes open!
But Erika is doing well. I think that she is adjusting from her summer schedule to this one and trying to understand the whole situation. How do you go from spending every day with Mommy to Mommy going to work everyday? It breaks my heart that I can't be with her. Then I start thinking about how soon enough I will be leaving two of them and I feel even worse. I do have to say that if a woman is going to be a working Mommy, teaching is the best career to choose.
This morning Erika and Daddy went to work while I stayed home and planned my lesson on glaciers for the week. And then when they came home I took Erika out for some errands and the ever popular apple ride at the outlets! I am always amazed at how much Erika loves that ride! That big smile for just .50 cents!
Erika is doing amazing with the potty. I am so proud of her. Oh yeah and the other day she told me that I did a good job driving! My little girl is constantly putting a smile on my face.
