So here is the story behind the Elmo bedding set from Grandma. We went in to Walmart just to look around (do girls EVER just look around?). As we were looking around I remembered that I asked the doctor if it is okay to start giving Erika a pillow because she has been asking for one. He told me two years old is the time that you can start. So my mother and I picked out a $3.00 pillow...
We then proceeded to look for a single pillow case that would be cute for her. That's when I stumbled upon the Elmo toddler bedding set. Once it was in my hands, Erika wanted to hold it. I told my mother I would buy it if it was under $20.00 if not back on the shelf it goes. We scanned it...34.00. We both thought that was a lot for a toddler bedding set so we decided eventually it would go back on the shelf.
We continued to look for the single pillow case. In the mean time Erika was becoming so attached to this set that she wouldn't even let go of the package so that i could see the picture of the design.
Next thing we know she is hugging it saying "I love this, I love this." And then grandma said "It looks like Grandma is going to have to buy that for you huh?" Awww....that's one of my favorite stories!

I love it...she has great taste.
And UM...my girls have been sleeping with pillows since about 8 months old. Had no idea about the 2 year old rule. I guess I don't win mother of the year...LOL
To be honest, they just always slept better with a pillow.
So cute that last picture! Arjun has the same bedding and he loves it! Actually that is cheap for a bedding set, most are double that amount! I think the cheapest I saw was $25 for the Target brand. Did the dr say it had to be a special pillow? I read that is suppose to be a certain size and firmness..just curious as to what he recommended?
