Playing At The Park

I am having such an awesome summer with Erika! We keep busy and spend so much time together. It's great and I know I will miss her terribly in September. I think I am extra into spending Mommy daughter time with her because I know next summer she will share me with her new brother or sister...who will already be 7 months old at this point!
This morning after a visit to the vet with Daddy and his cat Burt, Erika and I went to one of the parks that Erika constantly asks me to take her to. I have been having park guilt lately. We drive past these playgrounds and Erika always says "look Mommy...park...I go there!" And it seems I am always on my way some place and can't stop. So today I made it priority to get both of us there.


We had the whole place to ourselves. It was kinda hot out so maybe everybody was at the pool! I finally have anew camera and had fun testing it out today. My old one was beyond time to be replaced! This one is great from what I see of it. Peter did the research and then went and bought it for me. I love it! Taking pictures of Erika has been my daily hobby for two years now!

This camera has a quick shutter speed because look how it caught the ball up in the air! Cool! That will help for the times when Erika is doing something that I want a pic of and she moves so fast sometimes it is hard to get it.
Her and I played with her ball in the basketball court and she really thought she was hot stuff like the big kids. And then we also like to take the ball and roll it down the slide. She is such a climber at the park. i get nervous but try my best to stand back and let her explore.

The picture above is still the one thing at this park she will not do...the wobbly bridge. She did try today but then decided against it. One day she will amaze me and hop on it as if it were nothing!
