We started our morning out with some yummy pancakes and sticker time. Erika and Daddy seem to really love the pancakes I make. Originally Erika and i had plans today to meet up with God Mommy Debbie at the teachers supply store and then get some lunch at Panera. But plans changed so we didn't get to do that.
There she is shoveling in the pancakes. Since I had many returns to do, Erika and I headed out to accomplish a few of them. When we left it was just overcast but very soon into our travels it was a down poor! We had stopped at Kohl's to return something and when we came out it was raining...no wait pouring and that was just the start of the pattern.
I was tempted to cancel the day of returns but decided to stick it out. The worst was when we were at Babies R Us. We did our return and then bought two big bags of diapers and two large wipe refill packs. The bag was heavy and just as I was paying,, I looked outside and holy cow was it raining! But after waiting a few minutes for it to stop, we went out in it. Erika wasn't too happy when her feet got wet (she had on sandals) but she survived!
The picture above was taken at our very first stop -Walgreen's. As you can see the weather was fine at this point! Erika made a very exciting purchase - some new play dough. She was very happy about this!
And well, that sums up the excitement for today!
