Today Erika and I spent a great day with my friend Kim. We met at Kim's house around 10:30 and then head off to the ecology center. When we got there I was amazed at how beautiful the place is!
It was like a mini zoo. Very clean and well kept. There is no fee to get in just a donation if you wish. We walked around and showed Erika all the different animals. She had a great time and so did Kim and I. We went at the right time too because as we were leaving it was beginning to get really hot so it was best to get out of there!
Kim spent a lot of time teaching Erika how to feed the goats and Erika was loving every minute of it. I thought Erika would be afraid to do that but instead she loved it! I enjoyed watching Kim with her.
Erika saw some other children putting their faces in this barn scene and so she told Kim and I that she wanted to do that. It was one of those really cute moments.
It was so hot towards the end that we kept going by the sprinklers. Erika and Kim were having fun getting wet!
And of course the day wouldn't have been right without a ice pop...Kim's treat. It was such a nice day and I can't wait to do it again.

I love that place...my mom brings the girls there alot during the days when I am at work.
That place looks really neat. Glad you guys were able to go and have fun. Can we come next time?
