So today is still going since Erika is up after only sleeping for an hour. With our luck she probably thinks she was only taking a nap. She seems like she is having teeth problems because she keeps putting her fingers in her mouth. I feel two top molars coming in but that is not where she is putting her fingers so I really am not too sure. I have a feeling that we have a rough night ahead of us and I hope I am wrong!
When I took Erika to the doctor on Friday he indicated that she should not be on the bottle any more where as the other doctor that i usually see has told me it is okay! Anyway, we have started the breaking of the bottle habit as of yesterday. mainly because the milk is not great for her congestion and also the doctor said that the bottle contributes to earaches. I can't make a real judgement of how it is going because she is sick and irritable to start with. I think it is a hard habit for me to break because I have been feeding her a bottle for 16 months and I enjoy that time. It is very difficult for me and makes me feel sad.

Poor thing..sick AND getting molars. YUCK! Yeah we always fed the babies sitting up because we heard it was bad for their ears. I cannot wait to get off the bottles but I am like you it is nice because you know they drink it and know they are full! Thanks for all the pictures, we were definetly deprived. Love the new look of the blog, perfect for fall and for Erika!
