My Cute Stuff

This morning and early afternoon started out very rainy and now it is so humid! Erika woke her sleeping parents up at 6:30 and we have been up since. Well actually I took a nap when she took her afternoon nap. I was exhausted. Her health is back to normal at this point. No spots, coughing, fever or irritability! Allllll better! It is great having little Miss. Sunshine back! With all the rain, I started to feel trapped and realized how used to going out I am!Erika has added more words to her vocabulary like water...which she actually says something that sounds like "wa wa" ready, Reen for Maureen, color, and she is saying please and thank you more often and sometimes without being told! On the negative side, she is doing her "no" routine often lately. Today at the food store she did it to some poor unsuspecting elderly man that was behind us at the check out!
Erika is not really a huge fan of the bath any more. When she was little I remember her loving it. But now usually without fail she cries when I put her in and then gets very upset when I wash her hair too. It is also difficult to keep her sitting down. So basically her feet get a nice soak!
When I put daddy on bath duty she seems to do much better. I must not be too much fun! He spends a lot of time entertaining her whereas I am basically worn out and getting the job done! She loves when i blow bubbles for her in the tub. It seems to be the first things she always asks for.
These pictures of her all swaddled up in her towel never get old for me! I just love them and she always looks so beautiful when she gets out of the tub. I have much more to share but will have to continue later!
