So since today is Wednesday, Erika spent the day with Michelle. This means that I drove into work alone. On the way in, I had strike three on the road. I was in the fast lane on the way to work, going faster than I should be but keeping up with the traffic and this car just started coming over in my lane and pushing me out of the way! I had no where to move because I had the divider on my left and the car was pushing me from the right. I swerved and my car was rocking back and forth, back and forth. He cut in front of me and then decided that wasn't where he wanted to be and kept changing lanes. I thought I was going to pass out from the shock, had instant chest pains, my whole body was shaking and I felt like things were turning white. I made it to work (in the slow lane), called Peter, cried to him and pulled myself together. Not good....too many road problems. I need a teaching job closer to home or a home closer to my teaching job. Also I do not think it is just coincidence that Erika is never in the car when things happen. Today's incident would have been so much worse than the summer one. I don't think I would have made it out alive from this one. If I hit that divider I would have flipped over it and said my goodbyes...Wednesday, September 24, 2008
