My baby girl must be going through a growth spurt because today she broke a record for her longest nap ever! She completely slept the entire day away - 10:30 till 3:00! I kept checking the monitor to make sure she was okay. A couple of times she would even sit up but then she would lay down and go right back to sleep. So I guess I am not the only one who is feeling completely exhausted around here! I did manage to get some things accomplished while she was sleeping. In a dream world I would have loved to sleep for that entire time she was sleeping too! WOW!
Peter had to work all day again today so when Erika finally decided to roll out of her crib, it was just her and I. First she had a great lunch. My special meatloaf, noodles, green beans and a fruit that I can't remember right now. Then I sat her on the potty and she made poop! I was so excited which in turn made her very excited. She was still talking about it as I was putting her to bed. Not sure if that means training is around the corner or if it was just lucky that she went!
We have noticed that Erika is understanding so much more of what we say to her. For example she is usually able to respond when we ask her what she wants. She is definitely listening when I am talking to peter because sometimes she will repeat words I say. Time to be extra careful! Erika is such a good girl and I am beyond proud of her.

WOW that is a super long nap. Now I know why you are so tired all the time and barely have time to text and watch lifetime movies with me but I agree Erika comes first and I am glad your new schedule is working out-for all of you!
