Erika Is My Little Sweetheart!

Last night Erika woke me so many times that I lost count. Most of the times I just went in her room, hugged her, gave her the paci, restarted the CD and laid her back down. But at 3:30 she wasn't convinced with that routine and wanted to go downstairs for a yummy bottle and some t.v. I was having difficulty keeping my eyes open and my head up but she was enjoying herself.
Luckily she then slept from 4:30 - 8:30. So it turns out that I really wasn't that tired today. This was a good thing because I had many errands planned for Erika and I to do. Daddy was working so we kept extra busy. Food shopping, oil change, dry cleaners, post office, gas station, and more. I can't even give one compliant about how Erika made it through the day. She was GREAT! No crying or giving me a hard time.
One of Erika's favorite things to do right now is wash her baby doll in the tub. As soon as I bring her in the bathroom she starts saying "baby...baby." And then she brushes the dolls teeth, washes it's hair and gives her many hugs and kisses. This is the sign of a baby who missed her nap because Mommy kept bringing her from one errand to the next!

But while we were out at Kohl's (I forgot to put that on my list above) Erika and I spotted a talking toy vacuum cleaner and so we just had to have it. Good thing I had a $10.00 of coupon and it was already on sale for half price. Would you believe I got this regularly priced $30.00 toy for about $5.00?? Crazy right?

Before she knows it, this activity will no longer be a game but a boring chore!
