Just Look At These Two!

I was so tired by Sunday night that I just couldn't sit down to blog. Not too much to report from Sunday. Erika and I had a great weekend and I enjoyed every second of her. I am having a tough time separating from her lately. It is so hard because I enjoy my job teaching but also enjoy being Erika's mommy so much also. Sunday night Peter and I had a new members meeting at the church we go to on Sundays, so Michelle offered to take care of Erika for a few hours. What would we do without Michelle's help??? I DON'T KNOW! Peter and I will officially be members of the church in our town during next Sunday's service. It is exciting for both of us and a great church for youth which is very important for Erika. (the pictures of Belle and Erika are not from Sunday night...they are from Monday night)

Erika has at times put three words together to form a small sentence already! I am so proud of course because I know she is doing great in the verbal department. The three - three word phrases/sentences she has said are "night night Daddy," ""Clean it up," and "no, I done." Three words together for a 17 month old I think is pretty good.

Tonight on the way over to Michelle's house, I turned down one of the streets on the way to Michelle's and Erika recognized the way and where we were going! I didn't tell her when I put her in the car where we were going because I didn't want her to think she was being dropped off again (I have guilty mom's conscience) and she said "Riley?" and that is the name of Michelle's dog...so she knows the way to get there! Now is that a smart one or what??

My bundled up beauty on the way home from a fun time at Michelle's...and tomorrow I am off! Yippiiie!
