Busy Busy

I don't know where the days of this week went since Tuesday but I have been so busy and so tired that by the time I sit to post on Erika's blog...I just can't because I would fall asleep. Erika has been doing great. I have been making such a huge effort in the feeding department to make sure she is getting the proper nutrients and it is working. Peter and I even see a difference in her weight. Her face and belly have a bit more meat on them, which I am glad about. I think (and hope) this will help Erika fight off some of the cold's she is constantly exposed to in daycare and Sunday school.

I like the picture above because she dropped something and I caught her saying "uh oh." Wednesday Erika had lots of fun at Michelle's house with Belle and their dog Riley...and Michelle of course too. Michelle said that Erika was in a great mood which made me happy. It is very difficult to go to work if your child is not happy. It actually makes me sick to my stomach! Michelle took some adorable "fall" pictures on Wednesday and as soon as she sends them my way, I will share them here.

Erika's bedtime has been switched from 7:00 to now 8:30. It is a big difference in time but so far it is working. When I had her going to sleep at 7:00 she wasn't really sleeping the night and I didn't feel like I was getting enough quality time with her and then just sending her off to Maureen's' again the next day. So now she eats dinner at 6:30 instead of 5:00 and overall this schedule is working out great. The only problem is that I am no longer getting much else done other than being Erika's Mommy completely whole heatedly! That would explain the lack of blogging this week too. With her going to bed at 8:30, I barely have much energy left for anything. But in the end Erika is MOST important to me and her well being is priority.

Anyway, the weekend is here and Erika and I will cuddle cuddle and do some more cuddling!
