The Weekend

I know I have been doing a real lousy job at keeping up with Erika's blog. I am always so beyond tired that it is near impossible for me to sit at the computer and type without dozing off! Would you believe that I didn't take even one single picture this past weekend?! The pictures in this post are from today after work.

Let's see, Saturday Erika gave us a treat and slept past 6:00am! I don't remember what time it was but it was nice. I hope she adjusts for the summer to a later schedule. It would be nice to maybe get up at 7:00 instead of 6:00 all summer. Erika and Daddy went to visit Grandma Vivienne on Saturday while I cleaned the house and did some cooking for our company that was coming Sunday.And then on Sunday Aunt Margaret and family came over for a visit. They still had some Christmas gifts for Erika which she truly enjoyed. I will have to get some pictures of her playing with her new toys. She also got a frog that is as big as her and she loves that! We ate, went down to the beach and just caught up on the latest happenings. We all had a really nice time.

Oh and Friday night when I took Erika to the food store, I let her ride in one of the carts that has the car attached up front for the first time. She LOVED it and so did I. It was so much easier to have her up there and entertained than sitting in front of me complaining and grabbing everything that i put in the cart. I can't believe I put that off for so long!
