The Last Day Of School!

Yippieeeeeeee!! School is out and I can finally spend some time with my girl! Man do I miss her. It is tough being a working mom and not spending as much time as i would like with her. Anyway, to celebrate, Erika and I went to Applebee's for lunch. It was such a nice time and a great way to celebrate!
On the way there she had me really laughing. She had decided that her pull toy dog should come out to eat too. So she was sitting in the back and the dog was barking so she told the dog to stop fooling around! I guess that's when you find out what you actually say to kids...when they start repeating you. I have had that happen in school where I teach too. the students will say something i said and sometimes it is so funny to hear it!There she is with her dog who was fooling around in the car. he actually came in the restaurant with us and had some hot dog! Another thing Erika kept saying on the way there was that she wants to go to the store and buy Erika some shoes! Too much. Our mother daughter celebration was one I think I will remember for awhile because it was just so nice. And then ironically that song "Another Brick In The Wall" by Pink Floyd came on...you know "We don't need no education....hey teachers leave those kids alone..." I thought that was pretty appropriate for the day!
